Formative vs Summative

We ask how many ways can knowledge be assessed?
According to (McGrowHill, 2018)
"Up to six formulas can be used to assess what students learn depending on the purpose and timing (assessment), you will be able to pose what kind and what goal you are pursuing with it."  But to be realistic, basically everything leads us to a formative evaluation in certain occasions and to a decisive one, which is the summative one. So

  •          Formative Evaluation
         Rectify, Check
This evaluation is fair, because it gives us the option to improve, it is something that is sometimes implemented and is quite accurate in its objective, because sometimes when you make a mistake and rectify you understand what you did wrong, the problem is that not everyone takes it into account as students, who believe that because it does not add up it does not make sense to do so then that is where the problem lies in general for this evaluation that many invalidate, As for the teachers, they do not use it as they should, in certain occasions they are somewhat different from the real subject but complex because of that they tend to deviate from the real subject, sometimes they use it to give the students to understand how the real tests will come, without rectifying or resembling what the subject is.
  •           Summative Evaluation
Cuatitative, echivement
This shows how much has been learned and how much has been taught by teachers, many who miss the opportunity to rectify in the formative evaluation, fall in this is the one that matters in the end, however without the formative evaluation could not reach a good end in this last evaluation. This is really important, besides that it gives you the opportunity to know how much you have to emphasize for the near future.
